Sorry about the extreme design of this webpage, but it is one of those Freebies, and I got it many years ago, when I first started my company - and it is found by quite a few search engines, quicker than my main webpage - so I keep it circulating and hope that future clients will read what I have written and then visit the main webpage. Thanks.

Greetings all - there is lots of information and links to various other sites of mine - we have some set itineraries on one link, we have 3 guestbooks where you can read comments from past guests, a Visitors Book for web-visitors and we have the famous Africam - the video cameras that are set up next to waterholes in various game areas of South Africa and linked to the Internet, live!! ...................... ............. ........... ............. ........_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ * * * * * * * * * * * * The best time of the year for game viewing is our winter months (May to September) - and the days are warm and sunny, with cool to cold nights. Except Cape Town area, which enjoys a Mediterranean climate, meaning hot dry summers and cool wet winters. Remember - if you want me to plan a customized safari for you, or even find a regular safari for you, your concept of "expensive" or "budget" is different from someone elses - PLEASE give me a maximum budget (Rands or US Dollars) that you would be willing to spend per person, excluding your international flights. It makes it sssooo much easier for me to find something to suit you. When sending me an e-mail, give me as much detail as possible - names, ages, interests, destinations, dates, BUDGET.....the more info I get, the better for you! (NOTE: I am never keen to respond to those unfriendly e-mails that are sent to 5 or 10 other companies - saying: "Hi There, we are coming to Africa, please tell me how much and what you can offer" Please, go surf somewhere else, and only come back after you have done some proper research and read our website!!) .............................................................. For the months of November, December, January and February, we enjoy a hot warm summer here in Southern Africa - ideal weather if you are trying to avoid the winter in Europe or North America - Come and visit us! A few years ago, I took Dave and Bernie on their Honeymoon Safari around part of South Africa and now they have created a website about their holiday! It is great - it is very interesting. The URL or the Web address is: http://www.daithi.demon.co.uk/ Nik & Angie have also hosting a website of their own... and it all started when Nik first came to SA with a drniking buddy of his, then the next year he brought his girlfriend out and proposed to her over the Vic Falls in a Helicopter, then the following year they came out to get married at Thula Thula Exclusvie Private game reserve, and now in 2003, they are coming out again from the UK for 4 weeks of superb wildlife gameviewing! http://www.nikbarratt.com Remember to return to my webpage after you have visited their site. A number of people ask for credentials of my company - well, Dave and Bernie are a fine example, as are Nik & Angie, otherwise, contact your closest SA embassy, any South African Airways office or SATOUR (SA Tourism) office. Tradepage is the company that maintain my website, plus hundreds others - you can also contact them. Visit my Guestbook - click on the link below, and read what past guests/clients have said about my safaris and services. I also offer self-drive safaris - with lots of ideas for any interesting holiday. If you have read about an interesting place in Southern Africa that you would like to visit, but would like other people to join you, to have extra company and also to reduce the cost, let me know and if your dates are flexible, I will try and form a small group of like-minded people for a great safari. Ask and though shall receive. WHAT IS THERE TO SEE? I shall briefly highlight some of the places that you can visit - for more details, contact Dean: SOUTH AFRICA - apart from our world famous Kruger National Game Park, we have Africas oldest game reserve, namely Hluhluwe- Umfolosi Game Reserve - also home to the Big Five. Mkuze, Itala, GameValley, Phinda, Kapama, Entabeni, Shamwari, Kagga-Kamma, Mala Mala, Chitwa Chitwa, Tshukudu are just to name a few of the others. Our popular cities for tourists are Durban and Cape Town with so many attractions in each. Snorkelling, diving, fishing game-viewing, hiking, rockclimbing, ethnic experience and 4x4 is all possible. Remember - The Big Five is not the ultimate in Southern Africa - we have hundreds of birds, many other mammals, great selection of insects and reptiles ..so, do not just focus on The Big Five - which were named as the 5 most diffcult to hunt - not to photograph or view whilst game-viewing!! Dean loves his job and meeting people, so he shall only take you to safe places - you are his "bread and butter" ....................................... LESOTHO - "The Mountain Kingdom" is for the adventurous traveller. The only country in the world where the entire land is above 1000 metres altitude! Mountain passes, steep valleys, snow-capped mountain peaks, donkeys, basuto ponies and friendly people - come explore!! ..................................... MOCAMBIQUE - recovering from a 20-year civil war, the beaches are the best on the sub-continent. Excellent snorkelling, diving and fishing. This is an African Experience - stand by for a shock into a 3rd world country! ........................................ BOTSWANA - WOW, game-viewing, game, viewing, and more. Stunning desert and bush scenery, with the vast pans, the Okavango Delta, the remote Drostky Caves and Tsodilho hills - (Bushmen are still there!) and many other attractions. Botswana is NOT a cheap country to visit. The Government has a strong policy of "high Cost, Low impact" - so the average night stay in Botswana Lodges is US$350 per person per night - and then you still have to get around - most times by light aircraft if going onto the Delta, or by 4x4 if other camps. BUT, it is fabulous!!! ..................................... NAMIBIA - my favourite - a vast desert - great sandunes and arid mountain landscape. The 2nd largest canyon in the world. Etosha Game Reserve - absolutely great with always lion sightings. The salt mines/pans and bird life on the coast are special .............................. ZIMBABWE/ZAMBIA - I love Vic Falls and also the parks in Zambia, such as South Luangwa or Kafue. A long way to travel from Durban, but well worth it when we have time to include other attractions, or else we'll fly there! ..................................... TRANSKEI WILD COAST - where? Just a few hours south of Durban lies the real Wild Coast - untouched by civilised humans - but rush, there are now plans to ruin the countryside and build a highway through the remote areas to get to Cape Town quicker!!!!!!
